Step #1 – get your financing in line.

How much can you afford?   What options are there on loans?  Do you have any idea what your credit score is?  As you make the decision to buy a home, financing is key and a process you should start now.  After picking a mortgage consultant to work with, they will have you fill out an application and together it will help determine how much you can afford.  You can also use the Affordability Calculator below to get an idea on your purchase range.

Once you have been “pre-qualified” by a lender, forward the letter to me so that we can include this on any purchase offer we make.

** when was the last time you checked your credit report?  It should be an annual event to confirm all reporting is up-to-date and accurate.  Here is a great website (annualcreditreport.com) to pull up all 3 credit reports, for FREE.  And, if you find something listed in the derogatories that is not accurate you can dispute it online.
